A specially designed nasal mask or pillows (Nasal
CPAP) delivers air into your airway. The flow of air
creates just enough pressure when you inhale to keep
your airway open. The mask does not breathe for you.
CPAP is considered the most effective non-surgical
treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
If your Otolaryngologist determines that the CPAP
treatment is right for you, you will be required to
wear the nasal mask nightly. You will also
experience a significant change in lifestyle. That
change could consist of losing weight, quitting
smoking, or adopting a new exercise regimen.
Caution: This product is designed as a tool for
'spot-checking' CPAP devices. It should not be used
to make clinical decisions or change prescribed
settings. If you have any doubt about the proper
settings or operation of the CPAP unit, call the
supplier.

The CPAP Meter measures the pressure being
delivered by the CPAP unit. The line closest to the
center of the ball is the units pressure reading.
